Carisbrooke Study Evening – Occlusion in Everyday Dentistry
1st June 2015
On Thursday 21st May, Carisbrooke associate Chris Dakin gave a presentation on occlusion as part of the monthly study club programme. The twelve dentists who attended received a buffet and drinks on arrival, followed by a two-hour presentation, focusing on components of the stomatognathic system, features of an ideal occlusal scheme in restorative dentistry, and how to complete and occlusal examination.
The study club evenings are intended to be informal, and there were opportunities for questions, in addition to case discussion, and the chance for people to view the recent re-development work at the practice. Chris had prepared lots of material and time did not permit everything to be covered – there will be another occlusion evening at a future study club. Check our facebook/twitter/website for details.
The next study evening is on Thursday 11th June and will be on a periodontal theme, hosted by Cristina Romao.
