Carisbrooke Dental Practice Adds Digital Imaging
22nd January 2014
We are pleased to announce the digitising of all aspects of dental radiography with the introduction of two Durr Vistal digital x-ray scanners as well as the latest version of Examine-Pro supporting software which will allow us to store all patient’s digital information within the patient’s records. These systems will work along side the digital CT scanner the I-Cat which in 2007 was one of the first dental CT scanners in the country. In addition to this we now have the capability of converting films sent into the practice from our referring dentists into digital format with the purchase of a Roviscan Scanner.
Due to the expansion of the treatments we offer at Carisbrooke into orthodontics our next planned upgrade is to have a digital lateral ceph and the replacement of the I-Cat scanner with the latest technology. This investment in replacing our CT scanner is indicative of our desire to remaining at the leading edge of innovation providing pt’s with the best possible options and care.
